In recent years, the international community has faced a series of unprecedented crises that have exposed the growing inability of current political and economic structures to respond effectively to acute threats attacking the very foundations of civilization. Despite the urgent need for a coordinated approach by all nations in addressing the critical problems of our planet, the current global environment is characterized by increasing uncertainty, strategic rivalry, and weakening cooperation.
While they claim that we do not have sufficient financial resources to address the climate and economic crisis, social inequality, or improve healthcare, they invest hundreds of billions every year in armament, new military conflicts, the maintenance of power structures, and in areas that deepen global instability.
Solutions that take urgent civilizational challenges into account are being systematically pushed aside. Our future is being deliberately sacrificed in favor of the interests of individuals that have nothing to do with justice, security, or survival.
The ignoring of the unprecedented economic and climate emergency by world politicians and organizations that make key decisions without public oversight repeatedly confirms that the current decision-making mechanisms are inadequate and unsustainable – where there is no oversight, there is no vision or responsibility.
This initiative is society’s logical response to current geopolitical developments and the systematic disregard for the real needs of the population.
The goal is to create a breakthrough open global system of transparent decision-making that will directly involve the world’s public in key processes concerning decisive questions about the future of our planet and society.
A completely new, innovative life system will no longer be built on the principles of profit and power, but on the real needs of people, scientifically grounded facts, and the shared values of humanity.
